Job summary

Pembinaan Sejati Perkasa Sdn Bhd invites a seasoned Project Manager to lead civil infrastructure projects from planning to handover. You will coordinate between clients, consultants, subcontractors and authorities to ensure quality, safety, and on-time delivery.

You will prepare progress reports, manage budgets and resources, chair meetings, and drive procurement decisions in collaboration with the Project Director. Fluency in English and Bahasa Malaysia is required; Mandarin is an advantage.

Qualifications

• Diploma/degree in Civil Engineering or Construction Management or equivalent.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in Civil & Structural or Infrastructural projects.
• Good management skills and ability to liaise with sub-contractors, consultants and authorities to attain targeted outcomes.
• Good communication skills and ability to interact and communicate efficiently under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
• Proficient in English and Bahasa Malaysia; Mandarin is an added advantage.

Responsibilities

• Lead and coordinate project planning, execution and monitoring across the entire duration.
• Deliver project completion within quality requirements.
• Manage budgets, schedules, resources and risks to meet time and cost targets while maintaining profitability.
• Monitor progress and milestones, identify issues early and implement corrective actions.
• Foster strong working relationships with internal teams, clients, consultants, authorities, subcontractors and suppliers.
• Manage day-to-day construction activities, ensuring compliance with specifications, safety, and regulatory requirements.
• Attend or chair project meetings with Client, consultants, subcontractors, suppliers and authorities.
• Prepare weekly/monthly progress reports for submission to Client, Consultants or project team.
• Plan and manage dispatch of resources at site including materials, machinery and workforce.
• Assist in reviewing key decisions, procurement strategies and contract variations with the Project Director and Contract Department.
• Ensure compliance with QHSE MS.

Job description

• Lead and coordination throughout the entire project duration ensuring effective integration of planning, execution and monitoring functions.
• Accountable & responsible to deliver project completion within quality satisfactory to project requirements.
• Manage project budgets, time schedules, resources and potential risks to ensure successful completion within time and cost, while maintaining profitability.
• Monitor project progress and milestones, identifying arising issues early and implementing appropriate actions to maintain project timelines.
• Foster strong working relationships with internal team, clients, consultants, authorities, subcontractors and suppliers to ensure smooth projects progress.
• Manage day to day construction activities, ensuring compliance with technical specifications, safety standards , environmental and regulatory requirements.
• To attend or chair project meetings with the Client, consultants, sub-contractors, suppliers and the relevant authorities.
• To prepare weekly/monthly project progress reports for submission to Client, Consultants or the project team.
• Plan and Manage dispatchment of resources at site including materials, machinery and workforce.
• Support the review of key project decisions, procurement strategies and contract variations in coordination with the Project Director and Contract Department
• Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and the Quality, Health, Safety & Environmental Management System (QHSE MS).

Requirment:

• Possess at least diploma/degree in Civil Engineering or Construction Management or other equivalent
• Minimum 5 years of experience in Civil & Structural or Infrastructural projects.
• Good management skill and able to liaise with sub-contractors, consultants and relevant authorities and attain targeted outcome.
• Good communication skills and able to interact and communicate efficiently and work under pressure in a fast paced environment.
• Proficient in English and BM . Fluent in Mandarin is an added advantage.
