Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of proven project management experience within the mechanical engineering or HVAC system.

Responsibilities

• Plan, coordinate, and execute HVAC projects, ensuring adherence to timelines, budgets, and quality standards.
• Develop comprehensive project schedules, resource plans, and cost estimates in collaboration with production teams.
• Manage project scope, identify potential risks, and implement mitigation strategies to prevent delays and cost overruns.
• Lead and supervise cross-functional teams, including procurement, technicians, and external contractors, to ensure effective project delivery.
• Conduct regular progress reviews and status meetings with management, providing clear communication on project performance.
• Monitor project expenditures and manage budgets to ensure cost-effectiveness and financial accountability.
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations, industry standards, and company policies throughout all project phases.
• Document project outcomes, lessons learned, and best practices to support continuous improvement initiatives.
• Liaise with clients to understand requirements, address concerns, and maintain strong professional relationships.
• Coordinate procurement of materials, equipment, and services required for project completion.

About the role
We are seeking an experienced Project Manager to join HH TECH ENGINEERING (M) SDN. BHD. This is a full-time position based in Seri Manjung, Perak. As Project Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing HVAC projects from conception through to completion, ensuring they are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. This role is strategically important to our organisation, as you will be instrumental in maintaining our reputation for excellence and driving the successful delivery of complex engineering solutions for our clients.

Key responsibilities

What we're looking for

Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, HVAC Engineering, Project Management or a related discipline

Minimum 3 years of proven project management experience within the mechanical engineering or HVAC system

Strong knowledge of mechanical engineering principles, HVAC system, processes, and best practices

Excellent project planning and scheduling skills, with proficiency in project management software and tools

Demonstrated ability to manage budgets, resources, and timelines effectively

Strong leadership and team management capabilities, with the ability to motivate and develop team members

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage effectively with stakeholders at all levels

Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and project management software (such as MS Project)

Familiarity with quality management systems and health and safety standards relevant to engineering projects

Problem-solving skills and the ability to make sound decisions under pressure

Experience in a similar Malaysian industrial or HVAC is advantageous
