Job summary

UVYNOS SDN. BHD. seeks an experienced Project Manager with strong HVAC/ACMV and BMS knowledge to oversee BMS and controls projects from design through handover.

You will coordinate with clients, consultants, M&E teams and site staff, owning schedule, cost and quality to ensure successful delivery. Reading drawings and managing field installations are key duties.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Mechatronic, Building Services Engineering or related field.
• Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in HVAC, ACMV, BMS or M&E projects.
• Good understanding of HVAC control sequences and BMS systems.
• Experience managing projects, contractors and site teams.
• Able to read M&E drawings, HVAC schematics, control drawings and BMS IO/point schedules.
• Familiar with BACnet, Modbus and/or KNX is an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Review project specifications, drawings, BOQ, control schematics and BMS points schedules.

• Coordinate testing, commissioning, point-to-point testing and functional performance testing.
• Troubleshoot site and system integration issues with the engineering team.
• Lead project meetings and provide regular progress updates to management and customers.
• Coordinate project handover, as-built drawings, O&M documentation and customer training.

We are looking for an experienced Project Manager with strong HVAC/ACMV and Building Management System (BMS) knowledge to manage BMS and controls projects from design coordination through installation, testing, commissioning and project handover.

The successful candidate should be technically competent, able to coordinate with clients, consultants, M&E contractors and site teams, and take ownership of project schedule, cost, quality and execution.

Responsibilities

Manage BMS, HVAC controls and building automation projects from award to completion.

Coordinate with clients, consultants, main contractors, M&E contractors and subcontractors.

Review project specifications, drawings, BOQ, control schematics and BMS points schedules.

Understand HVAC systems including AHU, FCU, chilled water systems, cooling towers, pumps, VAV, ventilation and associated controls.

Coordinate BMS panel, controller, sensor, actuator, VFD and field device installation.

Monitor project schedule, manpower, material delivery and site progress.

Manage technical submissions, shop drawings, method statements and project documentation.

Coordinate testing, commissioning, point-to-point testing and functional performance testing.

Troubleshoot site and system integration issues together with the engineering team.

Manage variation orders, project cost and additional works.

Ensure projects are delivered according to required quality, safety and customer requirements.

Lead project meetings and provide regular progress updates to management and customers.

Coordinate project handover, as-built drawings, O&M documentation and customer training.

Requirements

Diploma or Degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Mechatronic, Building Services Engineering or related field.

Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in HVAC, ACMV, BMS, building automation or M&E projects.

Good understanding of HVAC control sequences and BMS systems.

Experience managing projects, contractors and site teams.

Able to read M&E drawings, HVAC schematics, control drawings and BMS IO/point schedules.

Familiar with protocols such as BACnet, Modbus and/or KNX will be an advantage.

Experience with BMS/DDC/PLC systems such as Siemens, Johnson Controls, Honeywell, Schneider, Distech or equivalent will be an advantage.

Strong communication, coordination and problem-solving skills.

Able to work independently and take ownership of project delivery.

Willing to travel to project sites when required.
