Job summary

Sension HVAC Engineering Sdn Bhd in Malaysia seeks an experienced Project Manager to lead multiple construction projects on a 2-year contract. You will oversee planning, scheduling, budgeting, and handover, coordinating with consultants, main contractors, subcontractors and suppliers to ensure on-time delivery and compliance.

The ideal candidate has a Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering and at least 5 years in construction management, with strong leadership, cost control and stakeholder

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.
• Minimum 5 years in construction management or similar supervisory role within the construction industry.
• Experience with HVAC products, particularly AHU/FCU, or applied systems is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Plan, direct and coordinate activities of designated project(s) to ensure goals and objectives are defined and accomplished within prescribed time frames.
• Monitor project cash flow and progress claims.
• Coordinate with consultants, main contractors, subcontractors, and suppliers to ensure smooth execution of works.
• Conduct project progress meetings and site coordination meetings.
• Conduct site inspections to ensure workmanship quality and compliance with safety regulations and ISO standards.
• Review and ensure compliance with approved drawings, method statements, and technical specifications.
• Value engineering and cost-saving proposals to ensure the system runs at optimum capacity.
• Manage and lead subcontractors, suppliers, and project team on day-to-day operations.
• Resolve site issues, technical problems, and discrepancies promptly.
• Support testing, commissioning and final project handover.

Sension Hvac Engineering Sdn Bhd is seeking a an experienced Project Managerto join our team on a 2-year contractbasis.

Key Responsibilities

• Plan, directs and coordinates activities of designated project(s) to ensure that goals of objectives of project are defined & accomplished within prescribed time frames.
• Monitor project cash flow and progress claim.
• Coordinate with consultants, main contractors, subcontractors, and suppliers to ensure smooth execution of works.
• Conduct project progress meetings and site coordination meetings.
• Conduct site inspections to ensure workmanship quality and compliance with safety regulations and ISO standards
• Review and ensure compliance with approved drawings, method statements, and technical specifications
• Value engineering & alternative system proposal for cost saving, comprising of initial and operational cost, to ensure the system running in optimum capacity as per specification.
• Managing and lead subcontractor, supplier and project team on day to day operation.
• Resolve site issues, technical problems, and discrepancies promptly.
• Support testing, commissioning and final project handover.

Technical Skills

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical, or an equivalent qualification.

• Experience in HVAC products, particularly Air Handling Units (AHU), Fan Coil Units (FCU), or applied systems is preferred.
• Proven track record of successfully managing multiple construction projects simultaneously
• Strong stakeholder management, communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work effectively across multiple teams and functions without direct authority.
