Job summary

First Air Sales & Services Engineering Sdn Bhd is seeking an HVAC Project Engineer/Project Supervisor in Butterworth (Penang) to lead HVAC project delivery. You will plan, supervise technicians and subcontractors, review drawings and specifications, and ensure safety and quality across projects.

The role requires 2–3 years in HVAC/MEP, a relevant diploma/degree, and proficiency in AutoCAD and MS Office. You will liaise with consultants and suppliers, manage material requisitions, and work

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s level qualification in Mechanical/ HVAC or Building Services.
• 2–3 years’ experience in HVAC/MEP field.
• Able to read engineering drawings and specifications.
• Familiar with AutoCAD and Microsoft Office.

Responsibilities

• Plan and implement projects and manage technicians’ activities; prepare progress reports.
• Instruct, lead, supervise, and monitor subcontractors to meet schedules.
• Study drawings and specifications to ensure design compliance and site conditions.
• Maintain project schedule by tracking progress and coordinating activities.
• Liaise with consultants, subcontractors and suppliers on drawings and technical matters.
• Attend site meetings with consultant teams and subcontractors.
• Prepare material requisitions and monitor materials and machinery usage.
• Ensure safety measures are implemented at site.

HVAC Project Engineer/Project Supervisor

About the role
We are seeking a highly skilled HVAC Project Engineer/Project Supervisor to join our engineering team at First Air Sales & Services Engineering Sdn Bhd in Butterworth, Penang. As an HVAC Project Engineer, you will play a crucial role in the successful delivery of our heating, ventilation, and air conditioning (HVAC) projects. This is a full-time position that offers the opportunity to work on a variety of challenging and rewarding projects.

Job Description :

• To arrange project planning & implementation and all technician aspect, but not limited to preparation of progress report update.
• To instruct, team lead, supervise and monitor subcontractor to meet proposed schedule.
• To study drawings, specification compliance with design requirements and site conditions to understand project requirement & submission tender.
• Maintains project schedule by monitoring project progress, coordinating activities, resolving problems.
• Liaise with consultant, sub-contractors, suppliers on all site technical matters, e.g. timely issuance of construction drawings, follow up on drawings, amendments etc.
• Liaise and attend site meeting with consultant team and subcontractors.
• To prepare material requisition for construction materials, to monitor machineries, wastage of construction materials by subcontractors.
• Ensure safety measures are implemented at site all time.

Requirement

• Diploma/Degree in Mechanical Engineering, HVAC, Building Services, or related field
• 2-3 years experience in this field.
• Basic knowledge of HVAC systems, M&E services, and construction/site work
• Able to read engineering drawings and specifications
• Familiar with AutoCAD and Microsoft Office
• Good communication and coordination skills
• Responsible, willing to learn, and able to work independently
• Possess own transport and valid driving license

Salary range : RM3,410 - RM4,550 (Based on experience)
