Job summary

AME Elite Consortium Berhad, via its Asiamost Sdn Bhd subsidiary, is seeking a Project Manager to lead complex engineering projects in Kuala Lumpur. You will manage documentation, submittals, RFIs, meeting minutes, and coordinate with subcontractors and clients to ensure on-time delivery.

The role requires 7+ years in engineering or project management, a degree or diploma in mechanical or electrical engineering, and strong coordination, cost control and risk management skills.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of experience in engineering, project management, or a related field.
• Experience in managing engineering projects from planning through execution and completion.
• Experience in project monitoring, progress reporting, cost control, and risk management.
• Degree or Diploma in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related engineering discipline.

Responsibilities

• Manage all aspects of project documentation including submittals, RFIs and meeting minutes.
• Direct overall project activities as assigned by the Project Director including planning and coordinating and resolving issues.
• Maintain all change order submittal and document (drawing) control logs.
• Prepare logs and other project documentation for construction meetings.
• Ensure contract submittals are accurate and submitted on time.
• Assemble and issue subcontractors' contracts.
• Coordinate Owner and Maintenance Manuals delivery.
• Ensure proper documentation and drawings for the Owner and Maintenance Manuals.
• Represent company/project in meetings with client and subcontractors.
• Assist field personnel and participate in ad-hoc assignments as needed.

Overview

What You’ll Do

• Manage all aspects of project documentation including submittals, RFIs (Request from Inspection) and project meeting minutes.
• Manage and direct overall project activities as assigned by the Project Director including planning and coordinating, circumventing/resolving problem areas, ensuring all company/ project policies, procedures and standards are maintained, etc.
• Maintain all change order submittal and document (drawing) control logs.
• Prepare require logs and other project documentation for construction meetings.
• Responsible for contract submittals that they are accurate and submitted on time.
• Responsible for putting together and issuing the Subcontractors contracts.
• Responsible for the assembly and timely delivery of the Owner and Maintenance Manuals.
• Interacts with Subcontractors to make certain that we have obtained the correct documentation and drawing for the Owner and Maintenance Manuals.
• Represent company/project in meetings with client, subcontractors, etc.
• Cooperate with and technically assist field personnel assigned to area of responsibility.
• Any ad-hoc assignments and other related tasks assigned by Management / immediate superior.

What We’re Looking For

• Minimum 7 years of working experience in engineering, project management, or a related field.
• Proven experience in managing engineering projects from planning through execution and completion.
• Experience in project monitoring, progress reporting, cost control, and risk management.
• Degree or Diploma in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related engineering discipline.
