Job summary

Asiamost Sdn Bhd, a subsidiary of AME Elite Consortium Berhad, specializes in firefighting and electrical systems for commercial and industrial buildings. We are expanding our business and seeking an experienced project documentation professional to support project directors and field teams.

You will manage submittals, RFIs, meeting minutes, change logs, and Owner/ Maintenance Manuals, while coordinating with subcontractors and clients to ensure on-time, accurate documentation and compliance

Qualifications

• Manage project documentation including submittals, RFIs and meeting minutes.
• Coordinate project activities as directed by the Project Director.
• Maintain change order logs and drawing control logs.
• Prepare logs for construction meetings.
• Submit contracts and subcontractor documentation on time.
• Assemble and deliver Owner and Maintenance Manuals.
• Interact with Subcontractors to ensure correct documentation.
• Represent company in client meetings.
• Assist field personnel as needed.
• Any ad-hoc assignments by management.

Job description

What You’ll Do:

• Manage all aspects of project documentation including submittals, RFIs (Request from Inspection) and project meeting minutes.
• Manage and direct overall project activities as assigned by the Project Director including planning and coordinating, circumventing/resolving problem areas, ensuring all company/ project policies, procedures and standards are maintained, etc.
• Maintain all change order submittal and document (drawing) control logs.
• Prepare require logs and other project documentation for construction meetings.
• Responsible for contract submittals that they are accurate and submitted on time.
• Responsible for putting together and issuing the Subcontractors contracts.
• Responsible for the assembly and timely delivery of the Owner and Maintenance Manuals.
• Interacts with Subcontractors to make certain that we have obtained the correct documentation and drawing for the Owner and Maintenance Manuals.
• Represent company/project in meetings with client, subcontractors, etc.
• Cooperate with and technically assist field personnel assigned to area of responsibility.
• Any ad-hoc assignments and other related tasks assigned by Management / immediate superior.

What We’re Looking For:

• Minimum 7 years of working experience in engineering, project management, or a related field.
• Proven experience in managing engineering projects from planning through execution and completion.
• Experience in project monitoring, progress reporting, cost control, and risk management.
• Degree or Diploma in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related engineering discipline.
