Job summary

Ambition Recruitment is assisting a Cyberjaya-based technology organisation to hire an experienced IT Project Manager responsible for end-to-end delivery across a portfolio of strategic application and software initiatives.

You will work with global stakeholders, drive digital solutions from concept through to live deployment, and operate in a hybrid environment (3 days in office, 2 days from home), enabling innovation and continuous growth.

Qualifications

• A delivery-focused IT Project Manager with 5+ years leading medium to large IT projects.
• Proven ability to deliver complex IT initiatives with tangible business impact.
• Skilled at influencing senior stakeholders in global, multicultural environments.
• Proficient in Agile, Waterfall or hybrid delivery; hands-on with JIRA, Confluence or MS Project.
• Certifications such as PMP or PRINCE2 or Agile are advantageous.
• Strong SDLC knowledge with large-scale transformation experience.
• Fluent in written and spoken English.

Responsibilities

• Define project scope, objectives and delivery plans aligned with business goals.
• Manage budgets, track costs and maintain financial accountability.
• Identify and mitigate risks; resolve scope, resource and scheduling issues.
• Lead cross-functional teams across frontend, backend, integration and data platforms.
• Keep senior stakeholders informed on progress, dependencies and blockers.
• Drive change management to ensure on-time, quality delivery without production impact.
• Maintain clear project documentation and reporting.

Based in Cyberjaya, they are seeking an experienced IT Project Manager to take ownership of end-to-end delivery across a portfolio of strategic application and software initiatives.

The Role

From planning through to post-go-live, you will own the full project lifecycle:

• Set project scope, objectives, and delivery plans in line with business goals
• Manage budgets, track costs, and maintain financial accountability throughout
• Identify and mitigate risks proactively, resolving scope, resource, and scheduling issues
• Lead cross-functional teams across frontend, backend, integration, and data platforms
• Keep senior stakeholders informed on progress, dependencies, and blockers
• Drive effective change management, ensuring quality delivery on time with no production impact
• Maintain clear and accurate project documentation and reporting

What We're Looking For

A delivery-focused IT Project Manager who brings both breadth and depth:

• At least 5 years leading medium to large-scale application or software projects - infrastructure PM experience alone DOES NOT meet the requirements for this role
• A strong track record of delivering complex IT initiatives with measurable business impact, beyond technical implementation
• Able to manage and influence senior stakeholders effectively in global, multicultural environments
• Proficient in Agile, Waterfall, or hybrid delivery approaches, with hands‑on use of tools such as JIRA, Confluence, or MS Project
• PMP, PRINCE2, or Agile certification is a strong advantage
• Solid SDLC knowledge with experience in large-scale transformation or migration programmes
• Fluent in written and spoken English
