Project planning and delivery
Plan and manage one or more software projects end to end, covering scope, milestones, release plans, resources, dependencies, risks, and budget where applicable.
Working with business quality analysts, technical leads, and project teams leads to turning requirements into clear, actionable tasks with owners, estimates, dependencies, and acceptance criteria.
Facilitate project kick-offs, stand-ups, release planning, checkpoints, reviews, and retrospectives when appropriate.
Track progress and delivery health in ClickUp, keeping project information accurate and up to date.
Identify issues and risks early, assess their impact, recommend next actions, and escalate promptly when decisions are needed.
Manage changes to scope, timeline, and priorities through clear impact assessment, agreement, and documentation.
Coordinate testing, UAT, release readiness, deployment communication, and post-release follow-up.
Maintain essential project documentation, decisions, approvals, and status records throughout the project lifecycle.
Client and stakeholder management
Serve as the primary point of contact for clients and internal stakeholders.
Set clear expectations on scope, timeline, dependencies, responsibilities, and required decisions.
Provide concise, regular status updates covering progress, risks, blockers, decisions required, and next steps.
Ensure feedback, approvals, and outstanding actions are followed up and closed on time.
Handle difficult conversations and scope discussions professionally while protecting project outcomes and client relationships.
Cross-functional leadership
Align developers, designers, business quality analysts, and infrastructure teams around the same priorities and delivery goals.
Build a working culture of ownership, accountability, and open communication.
Resolve coordination gaps, unclear ownership, and competing priorities before they affect delivery.
Support continuous improvement of project processes, templates, and ways of working.
What we're looking for
At least 3 years of experience managing software or IT projects end to end.
A proven track record of taking projects from kick-off through testing, release, and post-release follow-up.
A good working understanding of the software development lifecycle, including requirements, design, development, testing, UAT, deployment, and support.
Practical experience with Agile, Scrum, or other iterative or release-based delivery approaches, with the judgment to adapt the process to project needs.
Strong project planning, risk, issue, dependency, change, and stakeholder management skills.
Strong client-facing and communication skills, including the ability to explain technical matters clearly to non-technical stakeholders.
Comfortable using ClickUp or similar project management tools such as Jira, Trello, or Notion.
Organised, detail-oriented, and known for strong ownership, follow-through, and timely escalation.
Able to manage multiple projects or priorities effectively in a fast-paced software house environment.
Strong written and spoken communication skills in English and Mandarin; Mandarin is required for communication with Mandarin-speaking clients and stakeholders.
