Job summary

Jora Malaysia is seeking a seasoned IT Project Manager to lead multiple IT projects from initiation to completion, ensuring delivery meets scope, timeline, quality, and business objectives.

You will develop project plans, timelines, milestones, and resources; prioritize work by business impact, urgency, and dependencies; lead cross‑functional teams; own delivery risks, changes, and escalations; and report on KPIs, governance, and continuous improvement including automation and AI initiatives.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Management, IT, Computer Science, or related field.
• 5+ years of IT/Software Project Management experience.
• 2+ years of team management or project leadership experience.
• Proven experience managing multiple IT/Software Projects.
• Strong knowledge of SDLC, Planning, Risk, Resource, Change, and Stakeholder Management.
• Strong Leadership, Decision-Making, Problem-Solving, and Strategic Thinking.
• Experience with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
• Experience with Process Improvement, Automation, Digitalization, or AI is an advantage.
• Ownership, Accountability, Communication, and Organizational Skills.
• Good command of English and Mandarin; Mandarin proficiency desired.

• Develop Project Plans, Timelines, Milestones, Resources, and Delivery Strategies.
• Prioritize projects and resources based on Business Impact, Urgency, Risk, and Dependencies.
• Lead cross-functional teams including Development, UI/UX, QA, DevOps, Business, Operations, and external stakeholders.
• Take overall ownership of Project Delivery, Risk, Issues, Dependencies, and Escalations, ensuring timely decisions and solutions.
• Manage Scope, Requirements, Priorities, and Change Requests to control project impact.
• Oversee the full project lifecycle from Requirement → Development → Testing → UAT → Release → Post-Implementation Review.
• Manage Project KPIs, Progress Reporting, and Performance Reviews to ensure project visibility and delivery quality.
• Establish and improve Project Management Processes, SOPs, Standards, and Governance.
• Drive Automation, Digitalization, and AI to improve productivity and reduce manual work and errors.
• Work closely with Senior Management to align IT projects with business priorities and company objectives.
