• Proficiency in project management software and Excel/Project.
• Excellent organisational and time management skills.
• Strong communication and teamwork across multidisciplinary groups.
• Familiarity with Malaysia codes and regulations is preferred.
• Willingness to visit project sites.

Responsibilities

• Plan, schedule, and monitor project timelines, budgets, and resources to ensure projects are delivered on time and within financial constraints.
• Coordinate communication and collaboration between project teams, clients, contractors, and other stakeholders throughout the project lifecycle.
• Prepare and maintain comprehensive project documentation, including schedules, budgets, progress reports, and change orders.
• Identify and manage project risks, developing mitigation strategies to minimise potential delays or cost overruns.
• Track project progress against key performance indicators and provide regular updates to senior management and clients.
• Manage project procurement activities, including vendor selection, quotation requests, and contract negotiations.
• Coordinate site inspections, quality assurance checks, and ensure compliance with relevant engineering standards and regulations.
• Act as the primary point of contact for clients and stakeholders, addressing concerns and providing project status updates.
• Prepare technical reports and documentation to support project handover and closure activities.

What we're looking for

• Degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, or Mechatronics Engineering) or Project Management qualification


• 3–5 years of experience in project coordination, project management, or related engineering roles


• Proficiency in project management software and Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel and Project


• Excellent organisational and time management skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously


• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively across multidisciplinary teams


• Attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining accurate project documentation and records


• Problem-solving mindset with the ability to identify issues early and implement practical solutions


• Familiarity with local building codes, regulations, and compliance requirements in Malaysia is preferred


• Willingness to visit project sites and work in various environments as required
