Job summary

Arrow Systems Sdn. Bhd. is seeking a Project Management Engineer/Coordinator to join our Butterworth, Penang team.

This full-time role focuses on delivering projects on time, within budget, and to high quality standards. You will coordinate all aspects of project execution between technical teams and suppliers. The ideal candidate has a degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, or Mechatronics) or a PM qualification, with 3–5 years of project coordination/management experience and strong

Qualifications

Degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, or Mechatronics) or PM qualification.
3–5 years of experience in project coordination/management.
Proficiency in project management software and Excel/Project.
Excellent organisational and time management skills.
Strong communication and teamwork across multidisciplinary groups.
Familiarity with Malaysia codes and regulations is preferred.
Willingness to visit project sites.

Responsibilities

Plan, schedule, and monitor project timelines, budgets, and resources to ensure projects are delivered on time and within financial constraints.
Coordinate communication and collaboration between project teams, clients, contractors, and other stakeholders throughout the project lifecycle.
Prepare and maintain comprehensive project documentation, including schedules, budgets, progress reports, and change orders.
Identify and manage project risks, developing mitigation strategies to minimise potential delays or cost overruns.
Track project progress against key performance indicators and provide regular updates to senior management and clients.
Manage project procurement activities, including vendor selection, quotation requests, and contract negotiations.
Coordinate site inspections, quality assurance checks, and ensure compliance with relevant engineering standards and regulations.
Act as the primary point of contact for clients and stakeholders, addressing concerns and providing project status updates.
Prepare technical reports and documentation to support project handover and closure activities.
