Job summary

WIN TOP SDN BHD is seeking a Project Executive (Site Engineer) to oversee day-to-day on-site operations for C&S bridge works in Tawau and Kunak District, Sabah. The role reports to the Superior and aims to deliver projects on time, within budget, and to the required standards.

It is a contract on-site position based in Tawau/Kunak. Responsibilities include coordinating subcontractors, monitoring progress, enforcing safety, liaising with clients and consultants, procuring materials, and assisting

Qualifications

• Diploma / Degree in Civil Engineering or related construction discipline.
• Minimum 1 year of experience as a Site Engineer or Project Coordinator in construction (fresh graduates encouraged).
• Strong understanding of construction methods, materials, and safety regulations.
• Excellent problem-solving, decision-making, and time management skills.
• Proficiency in Bahasa Malaysia and English (verbal and written).
• Familiarity with project management software and tools.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and supervise the work of subcontractors and construction crews to ensure tasks are completed efficiently and to specification.
• Monitor and report on progress, identifying and resolving any issues or delays that arise.
• Ensure site safety protocols are strictly adhered to and that all works comply with relevant regulations and industry standards.
• Liaise with clients, consultants and other stakeholders to provide progress updates and address any concerns.
• Manage the procurement of materials and equipment, optimizing costs and logistics.
• Assist in the preparation of project plans, schedules, and budgets.
• Provide mentoring and support to members of the construction team.

About the role

As a Project Executive (Site Engineer) at WIN TOP SDN BHD', you will play a crucial role in the successful delivery of our construction projects (C&S) in TAWAU + KUNAK District, Sabah (Bridge Works for Pan Borneo Sabah). Reporting to the assigned Superior, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations on-site, ensuring projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the required standards. This is a contract position based on-site in TAWAU / KUNAK District.

What you'll be doing

What we're looking for
