Job summary

Forte Emerald Sdn. Bhd. in Klebang, Ipoh, Perak, is seeking a Construction Project Coordinator to oversee projects from planning to completion, ensuring adherence to approved plans, schedules and budgets.

You will coordinate with consultants, contractors and internal teams, monitor progress, prepare reports and help maintain quality and safety standards. Diploma or degree in civil engineering or construction management and minimum 3 years' relevant experience are required.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management or related field.
• Minimum 3 years of relevant experience in construction or property development.
• Strong knowledge of construction processes, planning and site coordination.
• Experience coordinating contractors, consultants and other stakeholders.
• Strong planning, coordination and problem-solving skills.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Understand project documentation, drawings and specs.
• Proficient in MS Office and project management software.
• Able to work independently and meet deadlines.
• Willing to travel to project sites when required.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and monitor day-to-day activities of construction projects from commencement to completion.
• Assist in project planning, scheduling and monitoring to ensure timely project delivery.
• Coordinate with consultants, contractors, sub-contractors, suppliers and internal departments on project matters.
• Monitor project progress and ensure construction works are carried out according to approved plans, drawings and specifications.
• Conduct regular site visits and monitor work progress, quality and compliance with project requirements.
• Identify project issues, risks, delays and potential cost implications, and recommend appropriate corrective actions.
• Assist in managing project budgets, costs, variations and overall cost control.
• Monitor contractors' performance and ensure works are completed according to agreed timelines and quality standards.
• Prepare regular project progress reports and provide updates to management.
• Ensure proper project documentation, records and correspondence are maintained.

About you
