Job summary

Ironway in Kuala Lumpur is seeking a capable Project Coordinator to support project managers and engineers with scheduling, documentation, and on-site coordination.

You will monitor costs, prepare progress reports, liaise with subcontractors, clients, and suppliers, and ensure activities align with timelines and safety standards. A Diploma/Degree and knowledge of design software (e.g., AutoCAD) are preferred.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of design software such as AutoCAD.
• Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
• Have Own Transport and Driving License.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with project managers and engineers to create detailed project schedules, outlining tasks, milestones, and deadlines for various phases of the project.
• Maintain accurate and organized project documentation, including contracts, drawings, permits, and other relevant records.
• Prepare progress reports, status updates, and other project-related documents for internal and external stakeholders.
• Attend site visits and ensure effective communication among project team members, subcontractors, clients, and suppliers; ensure everyone is informed about goals, timelines, and changes.
• Assist in managing project resources, such as materials, equipment, and labor, to ensure allocation aligns with requirements.
• Monitor project costs and expenses against the allocated budget.
• Liaise with on-site personnel to ensure construction activities progress according to schedule and safety standards.
• Identify challenges and obstacles and work with the team to find solutions and keep the project on track.
