Job summary

OGC BUILDER SDN.BHD is seeking a proactive Project Manager to plan, coordinate and oversee construction projects from start to finish in Malaysia. You will manage schedules, budgets and resources, and liaise with clients, consultants, subcontractors and site teams.

The ideal candidate holds a Diploma/Degree in Civil Engineering or Construction Management with 3–5 years of project management experience, strong leadership, communication and coordination skills, and willingness to travel to project

Qualifications

• Diploma/Degree in Civil Engineering or Construction Management is required.
• 3–5 years of project management experience in construction.
• Strong leadership and coordination abilities.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
• Knowledge of construction methods, drawings and site operations.
• Proficiency in MS Office; MS Project/AutoCAD is an advantage.

Key responsibilities

Prepare and monitor project schedules and work programmes

Ensure construction works comply with approved drawings, specifications and project requirements

Monitor site issues and ensure timely problem-solving

Review project drawings, documents and technical requirements

Manage project budgets and control project costs

Monitor subcontractor and supplier performance

Attend site meetings and prepare project progress updates

Ensure compliance with safety, quality and regulatory requirements

Manage project documentation, reports and records

Identify project risks and implement appropriate corrective actions

About you

Diploma/Degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management or related field

Minimum 3-5 years of relevant project management experience

Strong leadership, communication and coordination skills

Able to manage multiple tasks and meet project deadlines

Knowledge of construction methods, drawings and site operations

Proficient in Microsoft Office; knowledge of MS Project/AutoCAD is an advantage

Willing to travel and work at project sites when required
