Job summary

Fasons Holdings Sdn Bhd in Malaysia is seeking an engineer to oversee CNC machining operations and ensure compliance with SOPs and company policies. You will plan resources, conduct DFM and process capability studies, and develop new process drawings for product development.

The role requires 1–5 years in CNC machining, with strong analytical and organizing skills. Candidates should understand engineering drawings and have knowledge of broader manufacturing processes; ISO-certified operations

Qualifications

• At least 1-5 years experience in CNC Machining.
• Understanding on Engineering drawing.
• Knowledge on overall process for manufacturing will be an advantage ( CNC Machining, Wire Cut, EDM, Grinding, & Turning)

Responsibilities

• Assist HOD oversee all operation activities.
• Ensure operation of NPI Section complies with departmental & company policies, objectives, and SOPs.
• Planning, co-ordination, and allocation of resources to project and order assigned.
• Conduct DFM, process capability study for product design and requirement.
• Develop process flow, bill of material, and process drawing for new product.
• Review product drawing and development/process drawing.
• Develop packaging standards and instruction for the product.
• Assist in client contact and communication pertaining to project.
• Review customer drawings, bill of materials and specification.
• Lead to resolve any technical issues arise during product sample preparation stage.
• Develop, analyze, and record permanent solutions for any problem encountered during project implementation.
• Design and develop new jig and fixture for new product and process improvement.
• Authorize work drawing and engineering change.
• Drive cost reduction through engineering improvement activities such as Kaizen, Lean manufacturing, DFM etc.
• Adhere to all applications of Occupational Safety and Health laws and regulations as well as such standards, practices and procedures instituted by the Company.
• Any other responsibility which may be assigned from time to time by HOD, or Directors.
