Job summary

ART FACADE SDN BHD is seeking a Project / Technical Engineer to support planning, coordination, technical execution, and successful completion of projects. The role involves working with clients, consultants, contractors, suppliers, and internal teams to deliver projects per technical specs, quality, budget, and schedule.

Qualifications

• Diploma or degree in Engineering or related field.
• 2–5 years' experience in project engineering or related industries.
• Proficient in AutoCAD and MS Office.
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills; able to work independently or in a team.

Responsibilities

• Plan, coordinate, and monitor project activities from commencement to completion.
• Prepare and review technical drawings, shop drawings, specifications, and project documentation.
• Coordinate with clients, consultants, contractors, suppliers, and site teams on technical matters.
• Review project requirements, drawings, specifications, and technical details.
• Provide technical support and resolve engineering issues during project execution.
• Conduct site visits, inspections, measurements, and technical assessments when required.
• Monitor project progress and ensure works are carried out according to approved drawings and specifications.
• Assist in preparing method statements, material submissions, technical reports, and documentation.
• Coordinate material requirements, procurement, deliveries, and technical approvals.
• Identify potential technical issues and recommend practical solutions.
• Ensure compliance with engineering standards, safety requirements, and project specifications.
• Attend site meetings and coordinate with project stakeholders.
• Prepare progress reports and update management on project status.
• Assist the Project Manager in ensuring projects are completed on time, within budget, and according to quality requirements.
• Perform other engineering and project-related duties assigned by management.

Requirements

• Diploma or Degree in Engineering or a related field.
• Preferably 2–5 years of relevant experience in project engineering, technical engineering, construction, façade, manufacturing, or related industries.
• Good understanding of engineering drawings, technical specifications, and project documentation.
• Experience in project coordination and site supervision is an added advantage.
• Proficient in AutoCAD and Microsoft Office; knowledge of other engineering/design software is an advantage.
• Good communication, coordination, and problem-solving skills.
• Able to work independently as well as within a team.
• Willing to travel to project sites when required.
• Able to work under pressure and meet project deadlines.
