Job summary

Artabara Technik Sdn Bhd seeks an engineer to coordinate and monitor engineering projects in Selangor. You will ensure compliance with codes and QA/QC policies while interfacing with clients to capture requirements and represent them in the field.

The role involves quality control of budgets, schedules, plans, and team performance, with mentoring responsibilities for project personnel in a multi-discipline environment.

Qualifications

• Strong knowledge of AutoCAD and design software.
• Advanced MS Office skills.
• Familiar with rules, regulations, QA/QC policies and performance standards.
• Experience working on multi-discipline projects.
• Project management and supervision experience.
• Leadership and decisive decision-making abilities.
• Excellent time management and organization skills.
• Diploma/Degree in Mechanical and Electrical Engineering.

Responsibilities

• Prepare, schedule, coordinate and monitor assigned engineering projects.
• Monitor compliance to codes, QA/QC policies and performance standards.
• Interact daily with clients to interpret needs and represent them in the field.
• Perform overall quality control of the work (budget, schedule, plans, personnel performance).
• Assign responsibilities and mentor project team.
• Coordinate with project manager and other participants to provide assistance and technical support.
• Review engineering deliverables and initiate corrective actions.

• Prepare, schedule, coordinate and monitor the assigned engineering projects
• Monitor compliance to applicable codes, practices, QA/QC policies, performance standards and specifications
• Interact daily with the clients to interpret their needs and requirements and represent them in the field
• Perform overall quality control of the work (budget, schedule, plans, personnel's performance) and report regularly on project status
• Assign responsibilities and mentor project team
• Cooperate and communicate effectively with project manager and other project participants to provide assistance and technical support
• Review engineering deliverables and initiate appropriate corrective actions

Requirements and skills

• Excellent knowledge of design and visualisations software such as AutoCAD
• Advanced MS Office skills
