Jora Malaysia is seeking a project coordination professional responsible for driving early-stage involvement with customers, reviewing project packages, and ensuring feasibility within internal capabilities. You will manage documentation, liaise with design and process teams, and support samples through to customer approval.
The role requires coordinating with NPD and production teams, compiling engineering inquiries, and delivering PPAP/APQP reports to meet customer expectations and lead times.

1. Take part during Early-Stage Involvement (ESI) with customers to understand the project application, identify all possible risks and provide recommendations.
2. Responsible for coordinating with designer if circuit routing service is needed and review the circuit routing to ensure it meets customer expectations.
3. Prepare the single board sub material drawing (e.g.: stiffener, PSA, Poron etc.).
4. Review customer project package (Drawing, Gerber, Schematic, BOM, product specifications…etc.) to ensure the project is within internal capability. All engineering enquiries (e.g.: info discrepancies, unclear info, requirements beyond internal capability, recommendation and proposal) shall be recorded into DFM and discuss with customers to obtain agreement.
5. Responsible for handling the project being assigned by NPD Manager or Group leader.
6. Responsible to compile and transfer the project package (Customer project files, DFM, project checklist, sub material drawing, Gerber data etc.) to designer and planner, updating and maintaining the master listing/ record of project transfer.
7. Responsible for assisting the internal team with all kinds of issues that arise during sample build and customer feedback
8. Follow up Prototype to run and complete within the specific period and monitor the progress of customer approval on the Prototype lot.
9. Liaise with Process Planning, designer, or process Engineer for any new process before implementation to production.
10. Participate in Engineering sample Evaluation at customer's site if needed.
11. Provide new project status report periodically to Department Manager.
12. Coordinate with FA and prototype team for submitting first article sample. Feedback unexpected in process problem or any deviation to customers. To ensure the FA samples and report are meeting customer's lead time.
13. Compile and submit project PPAP and APQP report.
14. Responsible for ensuring the quality management system implementation and maintenance in accordance with international standard (Which applicable: ISO 9001, IATF 16949, AS 9100, ISO 13485) and customer requirements are met.
