Autoliv is seeking a capable engineer to lead and monitor automotive projects, ensuring delivery within time and budget while meeting customer specs. The role emphasizes collaboration with multiple departments and adherence to APQP and IATF 16949 standards.
The ideal candidate will have GD&T experience, CAD proficiency (CATIA/SolidWorks), and a background in mechanical/automotive/mechatronics engineering. Training is provided, and teamwork across disciplines is encouraged.

To lead and monitor the progress of the respective undertaking project and to ensure that the project is accomplished within scheduled and budget and also in accordance to the customer requirements and product specifications.
To assist in improving and ensuring effectiveness of department's operation system; inclusive of work flow, procedures, guidelines and policies.
To maintain correct project management procedures and control according to APDS and other requirements across the department through education, supervision by Senior Engineers.
Coordinates activities within Technical and with other departments.
Carry out project development activities according to APQP requirements in IATF 16949.
Involve in cross functional team for brainstorming, feasibility study and problem solving
Report to Technical Manager.
Training will be provided but the candidate must be willing to learn and do own research to be able to work within a multi-disciplinary team in this rapidly advancing technology field.
The incumbent has opportunity to work with a GlobalDevelopment Teamtodevelop and manage a project tomeet Global Automotive Manufacturer Requirements andOptimize the Vehicle to Meet Safety Regulations and New Car Assessment Programs (NCAP).
Requirements:
Bachelors or Masters Degree in Engineering (Mechanical/ Automotive/ Mechatronics or Related).
Experience in the Automotive and Component Development (plastic molding & metal stamping) or related industry will be advantageous.
Experience in GD&T and CAD design such as CATIA and Solidworks design software will be advantageous.
Applicants should be Malaysian citizens or hold relevant residence status.
