Job summary

Jora Malaysia is seeking a Quality Engineer to oversee end-to-end quality management in a manufacturing environment. The role requires a Bachelor's Degree in Engineering (Quality, Mechanical, Electrical, Manufacturing or related) and 3-4 years of experience in quality engineering, process improvement, or supplier/customer quality.

You will work with cross-functional teams to ensure product compliance and drive improvements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Engineering (Quality, Mechanical, Electrical, Manufacturing, or related field) required.
• 3-4 years of experience in quality engineering, process improvement, or supplier/customer quality within a manufacturing environment.
• Proficient in quality tools, methodologies, and problem solving such as 8D / Root Cause.
• Communication with cross-function.

Responsibilities

• Oversee end-to-end project quality management to ensure product compliance and performance.
• Proactively identify quality risks, implement preventive actions, and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
• Monitor and analyze quality metrics (PPM, internal defects, customer complaints) to achieve defined quality targets.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams and suppliers to resolve quality issues and improve processes.
• Lead root cause analysis and support internal and external audits to enhance overall customer satisfaction.
• Continuous improvement initiatives to reduce scrap, rework & defects.
• Work closely with production, engineering, and suppliers to ensure quality across the entire supply chain.
