Job summary

Eaton Malaysia is seeking a Project Manager for UPS projects in its Electrical business, based in Malaysia (Johor Bahru / Selangor). You will lead multiple projects, manage contractors, ensure budget adherence, forecasting, and timely invoicing.

The ideal candidate holds a degree or diploma in engineering, PMP certification, and at least 2 years of project management experience with AutoCAD skills; strong communication required.

Responsibilities

• Manage and control projects to meet contract requirements and budgets.
• Collaborate with Service Engineers and sub-contractors per plan.
• Provide accurate sales forecasts and milestone invoicing.
• Handle multiple projects and track requirements.
• Attend project meetings and coordinate activities.
• Maintain project costing records and traceable expense tracking.
• Support contract administration and procurement activities.
• Coordinate with Customer Service/SCM on parts and lead times.
• Ensure QMS/EHS requirements and continuous improvement.

What You'll Do

• Manage & control projects to meet the contract requirements and ensure cost control to meet project budget
• Collaborate with Eaton Service Engineers and manage sub-contractors in resource deployment according to project implementation plan
• Provide accurate and timely sales forecast and issuance of invoice per contract milestone/progressive claims
• Manage multiple projects implementation and delivery according to each project requirements
• Schedule and attend project meeting/discussions per project requirements
• Maintain upto date project integrated costing sheet and traceable tracking record to account for project expenses.
• Attendance of project meetings (technical, coordination etc) at site
• Manage / support contract administration works (ordering, billing milestone, shop drawings & O&M submission)
• Work with Customer Service / Supply Chain Management (SCM) team on parts ordering and lead time to meet project requirements
• Manage sub-contractor work schedule, resource deployment and quality of work.
• Manage customers requests during product FAT / SAT and support Service team on result obtained and report compilation
• Be committed & responsible for Quality Management System (QMS) / Environment Health & Safety (EHS):
• Implement the process approach and risk-based thinking
• Provide the necessary support to fully implement and sustain the QMS / EHS
• Communicating to the organization the importance of conforming to QMS / EHS requirements
• Ensuring the QMS / EHS meets its goals
• Engage, direct, and support individuals contributing to the QMS /EHS
• Create a culture of continuous improvement

Qualifications

Degree / Diploma or equivalent in Engineering discipline PHP - Project Management Professional Cert

At least 2 years of project management experience

Auto-CAD skill

Good communication skill
