Job summary

Leong Hup International Berhad in Malaysia seeks a technically proficient Draughtsman to convert architectural concepts into precise 2D and 3D drawings using AutoCAD and Revit.

You will prepare layouts for farm and factory projects, ensure code-compliant submissions to KM authorities, and coordinate with engineers, consultants, and project teams. Candidates should have a Diploma or Degree in Architecture or Drafting, with at least 1 year of experience, and be able to travel for site visits.

We are looking for a technically proficient Draughtsman to transform architectural concepts into precise, code-compliant 2D and 3D construction drawings using AutoCAD and Revit.

Job Descriptions

Responsible for preparing architectural layout drawings for farm and factory projects.

Produce accurate 2D and 3D drawings using AutoCAD and Revit.

Assist in layout planning based on site conditions and operational requirements.

Coordinate with engineers, consultants, and project teams to ensure design accuracy and feasibility.

Revise and update drawings based on feedback, site changes, and project requirements.

Prepare and support submission drawings such as Layout and Building Plans to regulatory authorities for “Kebenaran Merancang” (KM) applications.

Ensure all drawings comply with relevant standards, codes, and regulations.

Maintain proper documentation and filing of drawings and revisions.

Conduct site visits when necessary to verify measurements and gather information.

Job Requirements

Diploma or Degree in Architecture, Drafting, or a related field.

Proficient in AutoCAD and Revit (knowledge of other design software is an advantage).

Minimum 1 year of relevant working experience (fresh graduates are encouraged to apply).

Good understanding of architectural drawings, construction details, and local authority requirements.

Strong attention to detail and accuracy in drawing preparation.

Ability to work independently and meet tight deadlines.

Able to conduct site visits and travel outstation.
