Job summary

Nippon Paint in Butterworth is seeking an Assistant Manager - Project Division to drive project sales and expand market share. Based in Butterworth, you will coordinate with architects, QS, contractors and developers to promote our paints, waterproofing and related products.

The role requires strong B2B sales experience in building materials, excellent presentation skills, and willingness to travel. You will lead on relationships, site visits, and project proposals.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Degree in Business Management / QS / Civil Engineering or equivalent.
• Minimum 5 years of B2B sales experience in building materials, QS or related industries.
• Experience in waterproofing or flooring will have an added advantage.
• Excellent presentation skills and organising skills is required.
• Possess own transport and willing to travel.

Responsibilities

• Identify and develop new business opportunities to support business growth and expansion of market share.
• Build, maintain and strengthen relationships with architects, consultants, quantity surveyors (QS), contractors, developers, painting and waterproofing contractors.
• Plan, coordinate and conduct regular visits to construction sites, build relationship with the contractors and painters besides supplying paints to the project.
• Oversee coordination with specifiers (architect, QS and Developers) and painting contractors on the specification and application of the Company’s products.
• Monitor debtor ageing and collection status to address collection issues and support smooth sales process.
• Prepare sales proposals and deliver sales presentation to key accounts.
• Provide guidance to team members to support improvement of project sales processes to enhance operational effectiveness.
