Hunters International is seeking a Senior Project Manager to lead full lifecycle solar PV projects in Malaysia. You will manage development handover through commissioning, oversee multiple concurrent projects, and drive governance, risk management, and performance reporting.
The role requires 15+ years in construction/renewable energy, strong leadership, and proven ability to manage budgets, contracts, and stakeholder relations across complex EPC/EPCC environments.

Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Renewable Energy, or related field.
15+ years of project management experience in construction, infrastructure, or renewable energy.
Proven leadership experience managing large-scale solar PV or infrastructure projects.
Strong understanding of EPC/EPCC project delivery models.
Demonstrated experience managing project financials, contracts, and stakeholder relationships.
Excellent leadership, communication, and decision-making skills.

Build, mentor, and lead multidisciplinary project teams (project managers, engineers, site teams).
Coordinate closely with internal departments including engineering, procurement, finance, and commercial.
Serve as the primary escalation point for clients, partners, contractors, and regulatory bodies.
Foster strong relationships with EPC partners, subcontractors, and suppliers.
Oversee project budgets, cost control, forecasting, and financial performance.
Ensure contract compliance and manage variations, claims, and negotiations.
Support tendering, bid reviews, and project planning for new opportunities.
Champion a strong HSE culture across all project sites.
Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, industry standards, and company policies.
Drive quality assurance and commissioning processes to ensure successful project completion.
