Job summary

Astern Technologies Sdn Bhd in Kulai, Malaysia seeks a Solar Project Engineer to plan, coordinate and manage solar installation. You will prepare schedules, drawings and documentation, and coordinate with contractors on site to ensure on-time, within-budget delivery.

Responsibilities include site inspections, troubleshooting and commissioning support, and reporting project status to management. Some travel to site locations will be required as projects demand.

Qualifications

• Bachelor-level degree or higher in Electrical Engineering, Renewable Energy or related field.
• 1–2 years of experience in solar, electrical, or construction projects preferred.
• Knowledge of EPCC solar systems and electrical design.
• Ability to read technical drawings and project plans.
• Good project coordination and communication skills.
• Willing to travel to project sites when required.
• Knowledge of safety standards and regulations is an advantage.
