Qualifications

• Candidate must hold Professional Certificate to Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering or equivalent.
• Minimum 2–3 years of electrical experience.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to tackle construction issues.

Responsibilities

• Supervise daily solar PV installation and construction activities.
• Coordinate site workers, subcontractors, suppliers and equipment.
• Monitor installation of solar panels, mounting structures, cabling and inverters.
• Ensure works follow approved drawings, method statements and specs.
• Check site progress and ensure alignment with project schedule.
• Conduct toolbox meetings and enforce HSE/safety requirements.
• Inspect workmanship and identify defects or non-conformities.
• Liaise with engineers, subcontractors and clients to resolve site issues.
• Maintain site records, progress reports, manpower records and photographs.
• Coordinate inspections, testing, commissioning and rectification works.
• Assist Project Manager with progress monitoring and reporting.
• Ensure the site is organized, clean and safe.
• Liaise with clients, consultants, authorities and other contractors as needed.

Job Responsibilities:

Supervise daily solar PV installation and construction activities.

Coordinate site workers, subcontractors, suppliers, and equipment.

Monitor installation of solar panels, mounting structures, DC/AC cabling, inverters, cable trays, earthing and related systems.

Ensure works are carried out according to approved drawings, method statements, specifications, and manufacturer requirements.

Check site progress and ensure activities meet the project schedule.

Conduct daily toolbox meetings and ensure workers follow HSE/safety requirements.

Inspect workmanship and identify defects or non-conformities.

Coordinate with engineers and subcontractors to resolve site issues.

Verify materials delivered to site and ensure proper storage and handling.

Maintain daily site records, progress reports, manpower records, inspection records, and photographs.

Coordinate inspections, testing, commissioning, and rectification works.

Assist the Project Manager/Site Manager with progress monitoring and reporting.

Ensure the site is properly organized, clean, and safe.

Liaise with clients, consultants, authorities, and other contractors when required.

Job Requirements

Possess at least a Professional Certificate, Diploma, Advanced/Higher/Graduate Diploma, Bachelor's Degree, Post Graduate Diploma, or Professional Degree in Civil Engineering or a related field.

Minimum of 2-3 years of electrical experience.

Good problem-solving skills, as he or she must tackle and resolve issues that may arise during the construction process.
