Job summary

HTC Global Services MSC Sdn Bhd is seeking a Project Coordinator in Kuala Lumpur to support engineering and R&D projects. The role focuses on coordinating activities, tracking progress, and maintaining stakeholder communications to ensure on-time deliverables.

You will work with engineers, R&D teams, and project managers to manage day-to-day tasks, maintain records, and prepare updates and documentation for project meetings.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Engineering, R&D, Project Management or related field.

Job description

We are looking for a Project Coordinator to support engineering and R&D projects. The role will focus primarily on project coordination, progress tracking, stakeholder communication and ensuring project activities are completed according to schedule. The successful candidate will work closely with engineers, R&D teams, project managers and other internal and external stakeholders to coordinate project activities and follow up on deliverables.

Key responsibilities

Coordinate day-to-day project activities and follow up on project timelines and deliverables.

Track project progress, milestones, action items and outstanding activities.

Coordinate closely with Engineering, R&D and project teams to ensure smooth project execution.

Follow up with stakeholders on project actions and ensure timely completion.

Coordinate project meetings, discussions and follow-up activities.

Prepare basic project updates, reports, presentations and supporting documentation where required.

Maintain project records and ensure relevant information is properly updated.

Liaise with internal teams, clients, suppliers, contractors and other stakeholders as required.

Support engineers and project managers in coordinating project activities and resolving day-to-day project matters.

Assist with project planning, scheduling and monitoring of project deliverables.

About you

Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, R&D, Project Management, Business Administration or a related field.

2-5 years of experience in project coordination, engineering coordination, R&D projects, project engineering or a similar role.

Experience working with Engineering or R&D teams is highly preferred.

Strong project coordination and follow-up skills.

Good organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple activities and deadlines.

Good communication and stakeholder management skills.

Able to work effectively with both technical and non-technical teams.

Basic experience in project documentation, reporting or maintaining project records is an advantage.

Proficient in Microsoft Office - Word, Excel and PowerPoint.

Experience with Microsoft Project or other project management tools is an advantage.
