- Manage end-to-end project implementation including project planning, execution, risk management, quality control and implementation.
- Monitor project timelines, milestones, dependencies and overall delivery progress.
- Prepare project progress reports covering status, risks/issues, mitigation plans, timelines, challenges and proposed solutions.
- Manage project changes and interventions required to achieve project deliverables.
- Actively manage project issues and ensure timely resolution.
Test Management – SIT/UAT
- Manage stakeholders across SIT and UAT planning and execution.
- Develop and coordinate test plans and test strategies.
- Manage test case preparation and test resource planning.
- Track test execution progress and overall testing status.
- Manage defects throughout the testing lifecycle.
- Prepare test dashboards and status reports.
- Lead defect review meetings involving vendors, business users and IT teams.
- Coordinate testing activities across multiple project stakeholders.
Budget & Expense Management
- Track and manage project budgets, expenses and overall costs.
- Ensure Purchase Requisitions (PRs) are raised appropriately and payments are processed on time.
- Monitor cost utilisation and ensure expenditure remains within the approved project budget.
- Coordinate technical activities and workshops across internal departments and external vendors.
- Manage vendors, including those with off-site development teams.
- Ensure vendor deliverables remain on schedule and meet project requirements.
- Coordinate required resources for vendors, including VDI, laptops and other project-related requirements.
Project Governance
- Ensure projects comply with established project lifecycle processes and governance requirements.
- Ensure required project documentation and deliverables are properly reviewed and signed off.
- Ensure compliance with applicable procedures, company policies, quality standards and regulatory requirements.
- Coordinate and respond to project-related audit queries within required timelines.
Requirements
- Degree/Diploma in Computer Science, Information Technology or a related discipline.
- Minimum 7–9 years of Project Management experience.
- At least 5 years of Banking IT project experience – REQUIRED.
- Must have completed at least 2 full project cycles as a Test Manager/Test Lead – REQUIRED.
- Strong knowledge of project management methodologies, techniques and tools.
- Strong hands-on experience managing SIT/UAT, test planning, test strategy, test cases, resource planning, test execution and defect management.
- Experience preparing test dashboards and leading defect review meetings.
- Experience managing vendors and off-site development teams.
- Strong experience in project budgeting, expense management, risk management and project governance.
- Ability to manage concurrent project activities and priorities effectively.
- Strong stakeholder management, presentation and influencing skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
