ETCTECH GLOBAL SDN. BHD. is seeking a proactive Project Manager to oversee a project management team and ensure IT projects are completed on time and within budget.

You will coordinate resources across UI/UX, development and QA, and communicate with clients, outsourced partners, and internal teams. The ideal candidate has a Diploma/ Degree in CS/IT/PM, at least 3 years of related experience, and proficient use of PM tools like Asana.

Qualifications

• Diploma or degree in CS/IT/PM or related fields.
• Minimum 3 years of development/project management or related experience.
• Experience with software development processes and PM tools (eg: Asana).

Responsibilities

• Plan projects with scope, timelines, and resources.
• Lead project teams and weekly WIP meetings.
• Allocate resources and manage workloads; ensure necessary documents are available.
• Identify risks and mitigate them.
• Oversee QA to ensure requirements and standards are met.

Job description

We are looking to hire a positive, proactive Project Manager to oversee the project management team (3 project executives) and to ensure IT projects are completed on time and smoothly. Coordinate the utilization of resources across divisions (UIUX designers, developers and QA tester ) of the project to reach targets. The Project Manager will ensure compliance with budget, timeline and other project requirements. You will manage the project team members and communicate with stakeholders (client, outsource, internal teams) during all phases of the project, and close it efficiently.

To be successful in this role you should deliver an extensively recorded, tested, intact, and operative project within delivery time frames and budget. Ideal candidates will be attentive, detailed and have a positive demeanor.

Job Description/Responsibilities

Project Planning: Work closely with the sales & development team to develop project plans, including scope/requirement, proposal, timelines, and resource allocation. Define project goals, milestones, and deliverables.

Team Management: Lead and motivate project teams. Conduct weekly WIP meeting to provide guidance and direction to team members; identify and solve existing and potential blockers.

Resource Management: Allocate resources efficiently and manage team workloads. Ensure the availability of necessary documents and information for the projects.

Risk Management: Identify potential project risks and develop strategies to mitigate them. Proactively address issues as they arise.

Quality Assurance: Oversee the testing and quality assurance processes from the QA team to ensure that software meets the specified requirements and standards.

Communication & Engagement: Maintain regular communication/engagement with clients/outsource parties/internal members to gather project requirements, provide updates, and address concerns.

Budget Control: Monitor project budgets and expenditures, making sure that projects stay within the allocated financial limits and timeline.

Documentation: Maintain comprehensive project documentation, including project plans, job brief, status reports, and change requests.

Project Delivery: Ensure on-time and within-budget project delivery, meeting all project requirements and quality standards.

Post-mortem: Conduct project post-mortem and evaluate project and team performance.

RFP Preparation: Attend to project RFP/RFQ/tender and prepare comprehensive proposals.

Perform other related duties as assigned.

Qualifications and Skills

Candidates must possess at least Diploma/Degree in Computer Science/Information Technology/Project Management or related professions.

Minimum 3 years of experience in the Development/Project Management/Account Management or relevant discipline.

With solid experience of software development processes, methodologies and project management tools (eg: Asana)

Strong leadership and team management skills, with a proven track record of successful project delivery.

Possess good communication skills and confidence in communicating to all stakeholders from various backgrounds.

Good management, negotiation, written, verbal and presentation skills.

Problem-solving, results-oriented, self-motivated, adaptability, attentive and detailed.

Ability to work on own initiative with minimal supervision, good time management, priorities and organizational skills to work on multi-tasks with high sense of urgency.

Able to tolerate stress and work multiple projects within the company’s project portfolio simultaneously.
