Job summary

KROHNE (M) Sdn Bhd is seeking a contract expeditor in Malaysia with responsibilities spanning vendor follow-up, tracking sub-packages, and expediting approvals. The role requires coordinating with Engineering, Procurement, QA/QC, and Finance to maintain delivery status and progress updates.

Responsibilities

• Follow up vendors and sub-suppliers on material, equipment, documentation, inspection and delivery status.
• Track all project sub-packages and highlight delays or risks to the Project Manager.
• Expedite customer approvals, document returns and outstanding technical/commercial inputs.
• Follow up internal stakeholders including Engineering, Procurement, QA/QC, Document Control, Logistics, Service and Finance.
• Maintain project expediting tracker, action list and delivery status.
• Monitor document submission and resubmission status and follow up overdue items.
• Assist in preparing weekly/monthly project progress updates.
• Coordinate vendor meetings and follow up agreed actions until closure.
• Assist PM in tracking FAT, inspection, shipment readiness and key project milestones.
• Escalate critical delays or unresolved issues to the Project Manager.

Job description

This is a contract position for 6 to 12 months focused on project expediting and vendor management.
