Job summary

KROHNE is seeking a skilled controls engineer to drive system configuration, design reviews and documentation. You will participate in commissioning and first startups, while maintaining system templates and adhering to QHSE policies.

You will liaise with multiple departments, clients, and vendors, with occasional international travel. Strong knowledge of SCADA/HMI and PLC basics is required.

Qualifications

• Knowledge in process automation visualization and control.
• Familiar with Modbus and OPC communication protocols.
• Familiar with process instrumentation (flow, pressure, temperature).
• Familiar with P&ID's and E&I drawings.
• Knowledge in fluid dynamics and pipeline systems is essential.
• Understanding of network topologies is desirable.
• Analytical and problem-solving skills are required.
• Experience with SCADA/HMI configuration and PLC basics requested.

Responsibilities

Job description

Your main responsibilities:

• Responsible for the; System configuration, System templates & standards, Systems engineering, System design & including design reviews and department meetings.
• Responsible for the overall system documentation and associated control philosophy, involving design reviews, training and (control philosophy ) guidance towards the customers.
• Responsible for the commissioning, first startup of the system, tuning and maintenance of the control system
• Liaises with other KROHNE departments, clients, vendors, authorities and KROHNE companies, involving occasional international travelling
• Participation in the establishing and continuing review of, design tools, System (test) equipment, licenses, design methods and procedures.
• To assist at all times the company achieve its dedicated aim of "Best Practice"
• To ensure all work and tasks are carried out in accordance with the Companies QHSE policies, ISO 9001, ISO 14001 & ISO 45001 QHSE Procedures

Competences

• Knowledge and programming skills of process automation visualization and control
• Familiar with communication protocols, such as Modbus and OPC
• Familiar with process instrumentation like flow, pressure and temperature
• Familiar with P&ID's and E&I drawings
• Knowledge in fluid dynamic & pipeline system is fundamental requirement
• Knowledge of network topologies and related concepts would be highly desirable,
