Job summary

M Y Design & Renovation Sdn Bhd in Kuala Lumpur is seeking a Project Coordinator to start immediately. You will monitor works, review drawings, coordinate with clients, consultants, and suppliers, and ensure on-time handover while maintaining quality.

The role requires experience in interior design/renovation, familiarity with AutoCAD, strong communication, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently or in a team. Based at Bandar Sri Damansara, KL.

Responsibilities

• Monitor works to ensure compliance with contract specs and timely handover.
• Ensure on-site workers follow health & safety regulations.
• Review project terms; attend meetings and site walks.
• Check materials meet specifications from suppliers.
• Coordinate with clients, consultants, sub-contractors and suppliers.
• Submit progress reports and site photos; take measurements.
• Understand drawings and architectural/interior requirements.
• Maintain housekeeping and safe environment throughout the project.
• Study drawings, specs, and contracts to understand requirements.
• Report progress to management.

We are looking for an Project Coordinator who is able to start immediately or on short notice.

Requirements :

• Experience in interior design, renovation or similar role.
• Knowledge in Autocad or any related.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Attention to details and commitment to quality in all work.

Responsibilities :

• Monitor works for the project and ensure that is done in compliance with contract specifications, including verification of completed works and ensure smooth handover of the project(s) is within the accepted time frame.
• Ensuring all on-site workers adhere to the health & safety regulations.
• Review project contractual terms and attend meetings / site walks to have a clear understanding of project requirements.
• Check and receive materials from supplier, to ensure all delivered materials meet the approved specification.
• Coordinate with clients, consultants, sub-contractor and supplier.
• Progress daily site reports, take site progress pictures, check and take site measurements.
• Understanding of project requirements including architectural and interior design drawings.
• Maintain best practices in terms of housekeeping and safe environment throughout the entire project period.
• Understand project flow and site practices.
• Submit a report from time to time to management.
• Monitor progress of construction operation and update to boss.
• Able to study drawings, specifications, and contracts to understand project requirement.
• Office location @ Bandar Sri Damansara, KL
