Job summary

Jora Malaysia is seeking a Project Administrator to provide administrative and coordination support to the Project Department. You will ensure proper documentation, manage project records, coordinate meetings, and communicate effectively with internal departments, consultants, contractors and other stakeholders to enable smooth project execution.

Requirements include a Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Project Management or related field, 3+ years of relevant experience, and

Qualifications

  • Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering, Project Management, Construction Management or a related field.
  • Minimum 3 years of relevant working experience, preferably in property development or construction.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel and PowerPoint).
  • Good communication, organizational and interpersonal skills.
  • Able to work independently, multitask and meet deadlines.
  • Good command of Bahasa Malaysia and English.

Responsibilities

  • Provide administrative and coordination support to the Project Department.
  • Prepare and process project progress claims and billing in a timely and accurate manner.
  • Prepare, organize and maintain project documents, correspondence, reports and filing systems.
  • Maintain and update project records, trackers and document registers.
  • Liaise with consultants, contractors, suppliers, authorities and internal departments on project-related matters.
  • Prepare letters, reports, presentations and other project documentation as required.
  • Monitor incoming and outgoing project correspondence and ensure timely distribution of information.
  • Assist in preparing purchase requisitions, payment documents, invoices and other project-related administrative documents.
  • Ensure all project documents are properly filed and comply with the Company's document control procedures.
  • Assist in preparing project progress reports and presentation materials for Management.
  • Maintain confidentiality of all project information and documentation.
  • Perform any other duties and responsibilities as assigned by the Management from time to time.
