Jora Malaysia is seeking a dedicated Planning & Scheduling professional to develop, monitor, and optimize project programmes. You will coordinate with site teams, prepare look-ahead schedules, and support tender efforts with robust scheduling inputs.
Your role includes tracking progress, conducting site visits, producing weekly/monthly reports, and flagging delays with corrective actions. Strong MS Excel, AutoCAD, and Revit skills are valued alongside CIDB/JKR familiarity.

- Develop, update and maintain the project work programme using Microsoft Project or Primavera P6.
- Establish milestone, critical path, and work sequences for all project activities.
- Prepare look-ahead schedules (weekly/monthly) for site team coordination.
- Support tender and pre-construction teams in preparing project schedules for new bids.
- Track actual progress versus planned schedule and identify any variance.
- Conduct site visits to verify progress and collect data from engineers and subcontractors.
- Prepare weekly and monthly progress reports, including S-curve, cash flow forecast, and manpower histogram.
- Provide early warning on potential delays and recommend corrective actions.
- Analyze and record all delay events that impact project completion.
- Support preparation of EOT claims with proper documentation and revised programme.
- Assist the Project Manager in developing recovery programmes to regain lost time.
- Liaise with consultants, clients, and subcontractors to ensure programme accuracy and feasibility.
- Participate in coordination and progress meetings, presenting planning updates and reports.
- Communicate scheduling requirements clearly to all site teams.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all versions of the work programme.
- Prepare management-level dashboard reports summarizing project progress and key issues.
- Support project management in all aspects of planning, monitoring, and reporting.
- Degree or Diploma in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, Architecture, or Project Management.
- Additional training or certification in Project Planning / Scheduling within construction or interior design (ID) projects.
- Familiar with CIDB, JKR, and consultant reporting formats.
- Minimum 3-5 years of experience in project planning and scheduling within construction or interior design (ID) projects.
- Experience in preparing baseline work programmes, monitoring progress, and supporting EOT (Extension of Time) claims.
- Exposure to site coordination, sequence of works, and construction methodology.
- Detail-oriented and highly organized.
- Analytical and able to identify risks or potential delays early
- Good communication and coordination skills with site and office teams
- Capable of working indepedently and under pressure
- Strong reporting, presentation, and documentation abilities.
