Job summary

FAIR WORK (M) SDN. BHD. is seeking an experienced Program Manager to lead customer programmes from quotation through NPI, mass production, and final delivery. You will collaborate with customers and cross-functional teams to meet requirements, quality, cost targets, and schedules.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant discipline.
• Minimum 5 years of relevant working experience in project management, programme management, or a related field.
• Experience in manufacturing operations, production planning, or customer programme management will be an advantage.
• PMP certification will be an added advantage.
• Strong communication, presentation, problem-solving, and stakeholder management skills.
• Ability to communicate effectively with customers, senior management, and cross-functional teams.
• Strong planning, coordination, and organisational skills, with the ability to manage multiple programmes simultaneously.

Responsibilities

Job description

We are looking for an experienced and driven Program Manager to lead customer programmes from quotation and project planning through New Product Introduction (NPI), product launch, mass production, and final delivery.

The successful candidate will work closely with customers and cross-functional teams to ensure programme execution meets customer requirements, quality standards, cost targets, and delivery schedules while driving customer satisfaction and business growth.

Key Responsibilities

Manage multiple customer programmes, including Request for Quotation (RFQ) coordination, sales order management, production orders, schedules, and forecast updates.

Act as the key liaison between customers and internal departments, providing timely updates on manufacturing progress, delivery status, and potential issues.

Coordinate with production, technical, and material control teams to ensure smooth production flow and on-time delivery.

Monitor programme performance against key business metrics, including revenue growth, profit margins, cost management, inventory turnover, and accounts receivable.

Ensure customer satisfaction through effective management of pricing, product quality, and on-time delivery.

Lead internal and external meetings to ensure process readiness, resolve issues, and maintain programme progress.

Perform capacity planning, manage production priorities, monitor material shortages, and establish realistic delivery commitments.

Monitor manufacturing activities on the production floor and coordinate the movement of products between work cells and test stations.

Identify and resolve resource constraints, production bottlenecks, and issues affecting delivery schedules.

Prepare accurate daily build status reports and provide real-time updates to customers.

Ensure compliance with applicable quality standards, including AS9100 (ISO 9001) and ISO 13485, as well as customer, statutory, and regulatory requirements.

Lead, develop, and retain a high-performing team.

Support existing customer business growth and participate in new business development activities.

Job Requirements

Bachelor's degree in a relevant discipline.

Minimum 5 years of relevant working experience in project management, programme management, or a related field.

Experience in manufacturing operations, production planning, or customer programme management will be an advantage.
