Job summary

Lemax Technology Malaysia Sdn. Bhd. is seeking a highly skilled Program Manager to lead multiple programs from Senai Airport City, Johor.

You will plan, coordinate, and ensure successful delivery, working closely with Engineering, Manufacturing, Sales and Marketing to meet business objectives. The role requires a Bachelor’s degree in engineering or a related field, 3–5 years in program management (laser industry a plus), strong communication, and willingness to travel up to 50% of the time.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Plan, coordinate, and ensure on-time delivery of programs within budget.

About the role

Lemax Technology Malaysia Sdn. Bhd. is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Program Manager in Senai Airport City, Johor, In this role, you will be responsible for planning, coordinating, and ensuring successful delivery of programs in line with business objectives. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to manage timelines, resources, risks, and stakeholder expectations while driving continuous improvement and operational excellence.

Key Responsibilities

Program Planning & Execution

• Oversee multiple projects within assigned programs to ensure alignment with business objectives
• Develop program plans, timelines, resource allocation, and key milestones
• Monitor overall program progress and ensure delivery within scope, timeline, and budget
• Identify program risks, dependencies, and implement mitigation strategies

Cross-functional Coordination

• Coordinate with Engineering, Manufacturing, Sales, and Marketing teams to ensure successful program execution
• Align stakeholders on program objectives, priorities, and deliverables
• Facilitate communication between internal teams and external stakeholders

Technical & Business Support

• Provide technical guidance to support project teams in execution of program activities
• Ensure product and solution alignment with customer and business requirements
• Support decision-making on technical and operational matters affecting program success

Performance & Improvement

• Track program KPIs and report progress to management
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency and execution quality
• Lead and motivate project teams to achieve project objectives
• Foster a collaborative and productive work environment
• Provide mentorship and coaching to team members
• Develop and manage project budgets
• Track project expenses and revenue
• Identify cost-saving opportunities

To succeed in this role, you need to have:

• Bachelor's degree in engineering/ mechanical, or a related field
• Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in program management, preferably in the laser industry
• Proven track record of successful project delivery
• Strong technical knowledge of laser systems and applications
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and dynamic environment
• Strong problem-solving and decision‑making abilities
• Ability to travel (domestic and international) to customer sites (50% of the time)
• Ability to communicate effectively in Mandarin is a plus
• PMP certification would be a plus

Working hours: 8:30 a.m. – 6:00 p.m. (1.5 hours lunch break)
