Job summary

JHM Consolidation is seeking a Lead New Product Introduction (NPI) to drive cross-functional project execution in Sungai Petani, Malaysia.

You will coordinate sample builds, monitor timelines, manage mass production programs, and ensure on-time delivery while communicating with customers and internal teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree or Postgraduate Diploma required.
• Minimum 2 years' experience in a project role.
• Proactive, self-motivated and team-oriented with strong communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead NPI projects by coordinating sample builds and monitoring timelines.
• Coordinate cross-functional teams to execute project plans and changes.
• Manage mass production programs and ensure on-time production and shipment.
• Monitor forecast changes and adjust schedules with internal teams.
• Act as primary interface between customers and internal departments with timely updates.
• Coordinate with BD on tooling costs, changes, and quotations to customers.
• Track project risks and drive corrective actions to meet commitments.
• Support continuous improvement to enhance project execution and customer satisfaction.

Lead New Product Introduction (NPI) projects by coordinating sample builds, monitoring project timelines, and ensuring on-time delivery of key milestones.

Coordinate cross-functional teams (Engineering, NPI, Production, Quality, Purchasing, Planning, and Logistics) to execute project plans, engineering changes, and customer requirements.

Manage mass production (MP) programs by reviewing customer forecasts and purchase orders, coordinating material planning with Purchasing, and working with Planning to ensure on‑time production and shipment.

Monitor forecast changes and collaborate with internal teams to adjust production schedules or propose revised delivery plans to customers when required.

Serve as the primary communication interface between customers and internal departments, providing timely updates on project status, material availability, production schedules, quality issues, and engineering changes.

Coordinate with the Business Development (BD) team on tooling costs, engineering change costs, expediting charges, and other commercial matters, and communicate quotations to customers.

Track project risks, identify potential issues, and drive corrective actions to ensure customer commitments and business objectives are achieved.

Support continuous improvement initiatives to enhance project execution, customer satisfaction, and operational efficiency.

Job Requirement

Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor's Degree or Post Graduate Diploma, in any field.

Candidate must possess a minimum two (2) year experience in pogram (project).

Required language(s):Bahasa Malaysia, English & others.

Proactive, self‑motivated, independent, hardworking and pleasant personality.

Strong PC computer skills such as Outlook, Excel, Word and Power Point.

Working location base in Sungai Petani (Subsidiaries of JHM Consolidation Berhad).
