Jora Malaysia is seeking a maintenance/production technician to load and unload furnaces per production needs, ensure traceability and document the manufacturing process. You will troubleshoot equipment, perform preventive maintenance and support continuous improvement while upholding safety and quality standards.
The role requires electrical, hydraulic and pneumatic schematic experience, strong English and Bahasa Malaysia communication, and willingness to work long hours including weekends.

Load and unload furnaces per production and quality requirements
Proper and efficient material handling to ensure product traceability to meet quality and scheduling demands
Monitor equipment and record data to document the manufacturing process
Troubleshoot manufacturing anomalies related to equipment operation, productivity, and quality
Perform preventive maintenance as required to meet maintenance schedules
Adhere to required housekeeping requirements for the manufacturing areas
Submit and support continuous improvement ideas in order to improve safety, quality, productivity, and cost
Follow all procedures administered by safety, quality, process engineering, and facilities engineering
Train co-workers in proper equipment operations and maintenance procedures
Adhere and actively participate in occupational Safety, Health and Environmental; and Energy policies, procedures and activities such as I-See I-Act, GPI, low carbon initiative, etc.
Adhere and comply with Business Ethics, Anti-Corruption, Flight Safety Management System, and others relevant policies, procedures and activities
Perform other related duties as required
Requirements
Candidate must possess at least a Professional Certificate, Diploma, Advanced/Higher/Graduate Diploma, Engineering (Chemical), Engineering (Electrical/Electronic), or equivalent. Degree holder will also be considered.
Able to communicate in spoken Bahasa Malaysia and English
At least 2 year(s) of working experience in using electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic schematics
Basic understanding of Statistical Processing Control. Training in various principles of lean, i.e. lean manufacturing, TPM, 5S preferred
Candidates must able to work long hours and during weekends and public holidays.
