Job summary

SICK Malaysia seeks a maintenance technician to set up and install new equipment and machines, perform troubleshooting to improve machine utilization, and ensure production lines run smoothly.

The role requires basic electrical/electronics knowledge, familiarity with automation and control systems, and a disciplined approach to quality, records, and housekeeping in a manufacturing environment.

Qualifications

• Basic electrical / electronics knowledge.
• Knowledge in automation and control system will be added advantage
• Good knowledge in mechanical & production equipment
• Basic pneumatic knowledge
• Added advantage on machining and fabrication skills

Responsibilities

• Perform set-up & installation of new equipment and machines
• Trouble-shoot to resolve machine inefficiency and problems to improve machine utilization and efficiency
• Ensure compliance to quality standard and requirements
• Maintain systematic records of maintenance activities for traceability and analysis in event of quality issues
• Maintain discipline and good housekeeping practice
