Job summary

Jora Malaysia is seeking a skilled technician to carry out installation works during project construction and assist in installing new manufacturing equipment.

You will be responsible for machinery support, preventive maintenance, safety compliance, and maintaining logs while working to minimize downtime and support production schedules.

Qualifications

• Diploma in Electrical/Mechanical/Mechatronic or equivalent.
• Experience as technician in manufacturing is an advantage.
• Good teamwork and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Carry out installation works during project construction.
• Assist in installation of new manufacturing equipment.
• Provide machinery/equipment support and troubleshooting.
• Perform regular preventive maintenance on machinery/equipment.
• Ensure equipment, machines, tools and materials are in good condition and ready for use.
• Hands-on involvement in factory building/facility repairs.
• Ensure all maintenance works are carried out safely and in compliance with regulations.
• Report work resources and time utilization regularly.
• Keep all activities logged and updated in an orderly manner.
• Minimize downtime and reduce repetitive repairs.

Carry out installation works during the project construction.

Assisting in the installation of new manufacturing equipment

Responsible for machinery/equipment support and troubleshooting.

Perform regular preventive maintenance on machinery/equipment.

Ensure equipment, machines, tools and materials are good in conditions and ready for use in anytime.

Hands-on involvement in factory building/facility repairs work.

Ensure all maintenance works are carried out in a safe manner and accordance to regulatory requirements.

Reports work resources and time utilization on regular basis.

Keeps all activities logged and updated in orderly.

Ensure minimum breakdown and reduce repetitive repairs.

Requirements:

Minimum Certificate or equivalent, Diploma in Electrical / Mechanical / Mechatronic or equivalent will be prioritized.

Experience as technician in manufacturing field will be an added advantage.

Good teamwork and communication skill.

Able to work shifts, overtime, and support production schedules when required.
