Job summary

Malaysian Sheet Glass Sdn. Bhd. is seeking a Production Technician to operate and monitor production equipment in the glass manufacturing process, ensuring quality and efficiency.

You will follow SOPs, report abnormalities to the Supervisor, and collaborate with the production team to meet targets and support continuous improvement.

Responsibilities

• Operate and monitor production equipment and machinery in the glass manufacturing process.
• Monitor production parameters, product quality and equipment conditions.
• Carry out routine inspections and basic troubleshooting of production equipment.
• Identify and report abnormalities, defects or process issues to the Supervisor.
• Follow Standard Operating Procedures (SOP), safety requirements and quality standards.
• Maintain good housekeeping and workplace safety within the production area.
• Work closely with production team members, technicians and other departments to achieve production targets.
• Support continuous improvement activities to improve productivity, quality and operational efficiency.
• Perform other duties related to production operations as assigned by the Supervisor.
