Job summary

Jowat Manufacturing (SEA) Sdn Bhd in Nilai, Malaysia is seeking a Production Technician to carry out production activities per the plan from the Production Manager or planner. You will operate and safely maintain production machines and equipment in line with SOPs, ensuring product quality at all times.

You will perform internal quality checks when QA is unavailable, keep workstations clean, report unsafe conditions, and support company events, audits and certifications.

Responsibilities

• Follow planning from Production Manager to execute production activities.
• Operate and maintain production equipment safely according to SOP.
• Ensure product quality by performing internal quality checks when QA technician is absent.
• Maintain a clean workstation and report unsafe acts or quality issues.
• Support audits, certifications, and company events.
• Handle ad-hoc tasks as directed by superiors.

Job description

Carry out production activities base on planning from Production Manager or planner.

Ensure and properly maintain and operate the production machine and equipment in a safe manner according to SOP given.

Responsible and monitor all products, conform to product quality requirement.

Ensure and perform cleaning on the work station safely and diligently in accordance to the JPS system.

Report any unsafe act or condition, near miss and quality issues to direct superior and act accordingly.

Follow all safety and quality policy of the company.

Perform internal quality check on the product during absence of QA technician.

Support company event, audit and certification programs.

Perform any ad-hoc job given by superior.
