Job summary

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Attend to repairs and maintenance of all systems including HVAC and related equipment.
• Carry out meter readings and maintain cost records for building utilities.
• Perform general and emergency repairs to plant and equipment within required timelines.
• Conduct regular, documented inspections per checklists and statutory requirements.
• Ensure fire and engineering safety features operate optimally and know emergency procedures.
• Assist management to minimize wastage and costs.
• Liaise with and supervise on-site Maintenance Electrical Contractors.

Job description

This role involves attending to repairs and maintenance of all systems and related equipment, including heating, ventilation and air-conditioning systems. You will perform general and emergency repairs and maintenance to all plant and equipment, conduct regular and documented inspections, and ensure Fire and Engineering safety features operate optimally.

Key responsibilities

• Attend to repairs and maintenance of all systems and related equipment including heating, ventilation and air-conditioning
• Carry out meter readings to maintain records for utility costs throughout the building, including those of tenants when required
• Perform general and emergency repairs and maintenance to all plant and equipment within an acceptable timeframe
• Conduct regular and documented inspections of plant and equipment as per the checklist and statutory requirements
• Ensure Fire and Engineering safety features operate optimally, and familiarize self with emergency procedures
• Assist management to minimize wastage and costs
• Liaise with and supervise Maintenance Electrical Contractors on site

Requirements

• Minimum Diploma or Certificate in Electrical Engineering, and recognized trade qualification.
• Possesses technical and problem-solving abilities.
• Experience in electrical troubleshooting and wiring. Possession of an AO Chargeman competency certificate or above will be an added advantage.
• Strong understanding of preventive maintenance and knowledge in relevant legislation (building codes, fire safety, and country standards).
• Sound information system knowledge.
• Fine attention to detail and quality.
• Demonstrates ability to work in a team.
• Willing to work during weekend & Public Holiday.
