Job summary

Sem Matic Sdn Bhd is seeking a skilled technician to ensure machines and equipment are set up and maintained for continuous production in a manufacturing environment. You will perform tooling changes, monitor daily output, and follow design layouts and tooling sequences under supervisor planning.

The role requires reading part drawings and understanding GD&T, with at least 2 years of manufacturing experience in Autolathe, CNC milling and turning.

Qualifications

• Able to read and understand Part drawings.
• Understand GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing).
• Experience with manufacturing processes and machining setups.

Responsibilities

• Ensure machines and equipment are set up and maintained for continuous production.
• Perform tooling changes and maintain system records.
• Monitor and follow up on daily machine output.
• Operate machines based on planning provided by the Leader/Supervisor.
• Understand design layouts and tooling sequences.
• Carry out planned preventive maintenance activities.
• Troubleshoot machine problems with minimal downtime.
• Understand SPC and process capability (Cp & Cpk).
• Raise E-JR for any machine-related breakdowns associated with FFD.
