Job summary

Rapiscan Systems Malaysia in Johor Bahru is seeking a Production Technician to perform machine setup, troubleshoot issues, run tests and ensure quality during assembly. The role requires at least an SPM or Diploma in a mechanical field, ability to read instructions, operate torque tools and lift heavy items when needed.

Overtime may be required to meet production targets. You will work on the production floor under supervision with emphasis on safety and housekeeping, following work instructions

Qualifications

• Must have a minimum SPM Certificate or Diploma in any mechanical field.
• Able to handle mechanical tools such as torque drivers and measurement tools.
• Technician must work with small and big parts and have the strength to lift heavy items.
• Able to read documentation and operation instructions.
• Able to work overtime when necessary.
• Must be able to speak, understand & read English.

Responsibilities

• Perform machine set-up, troubleshooting, testing and quality checks on machine.
• Perform a check through on materials issued to them for assembly.
• Other add-on duties as per assigned by supervisor.
• Take responsibility for tools and fixtures provided in the production floor and also maintaining a good housekeeping within the group.
• Perform job based on the provided Work Instruction.
