Job summary

The company seeks a seasoned production shift supervisor to oversee Line A, Line B, and utilities, ensuring safety, quality and output during the shift. The ideal candidate holds a diploma in chemical engineering or related field with 5+ years in chemical plant operations and 3+ years of team leadership, plus familiarity with TiO2 post-treatment and DCS operation.

Qualifications

• College diploma or above in chemical engineering or process fields.
• 5+ years of experience in chemical plant operations.
• 3+ years of team management experience.
• Familiar with TiO2 post-treatment process flow and DCS operation.

Responsibilities

• CommandLines A and B and utilities during the shift, execute production plans and allocate resources.
• Direct safety production management during the shift and report abnormalities and accidents.
• Monitor central control zones and approve interlock removals and alarms within authority.
• Chair pre-shift meetings and shift handovers, review production reports and close unfinished items.
• Organize 5S, mentorship and team training for the shift; coordinate with maintenance, lab, warehousing.

Job description

Overall commander of production operations for the shift, fully responsible for safety, output, quality, and order during the shift.

Key responsibilities

• Uniformly command the operation of Lines A and B and utilities during the shift, execute production plans and dispatch instructions, and decide on resource allocation for the shift
• Bear direct management responsibility for safety production during the shift, organize risk operation control, initial handling and reporting of abnormalities and accidents
• Monitor the operating status of the central control chief operator's zones, approve interlock removal and reset within authority, and organize on-site confirmation of major alarms
• Chair pre-shift meetings and shift handovers, review shift production reports and records, and close out unfinished items
• Organize labor discipline and 5S management for the shift, implement team training and mentorship programs
• Coordinate shift-level interface matters with maintenance, laboratory, warehousing, and other departments

About you

• College diploma or above, major in chemical engineering/process
• More than 5 years of experience in chemical plant operations
• More than 3 years of team management experience
• Familiar with titanium dioxide post-treatment process flow, DCS operation, and interlock logic
