MENICON MALAYSIA SDN. BHD. seeks a Line Leader/Technician to oversee the full production process from dry to packaging while supervising the operation team.

The role emphasizes meeting daily output and quality targets, shift handovers, adherence to production plans, and collaboration with the supervisor to ensure smooth operations. English and Bahasa Malaysia proficiency are required.

Qualifications

• Diploma or equivalent preferred; SPM/STPM with minimum 2 years’ related experience acceptable.
• Must be able to work in shifts with basic ISO-13485 understanding.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills; proficient in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
• English and Bahasa Malaysia language proficiency required.

Responsibilities

• Meet daily production output and quality targets.

Job description

A line leader/Technician is in charge of whole production process (from DRY to Packaging process) and supervise operation team.

Job Responsibilities

1. Responsible for meeting daily production output and quality as target and goals.

2. Perform daily shift handover to ensure production runs smoothly as planned.

3. To run the production according to the production plan and schedule prepared by supervisor.

4. Assists supervisor to ensure production runs smoothly in accordance with production policies and procedure.

5. Assists supervisor in coordinating production startups, shutdown, changeovers, and prevention maintenance.

6. Train and guide operators on the manufacturing process, machinery operation and general mechanical skill.

7. Ensure timely training and onboarding of new employees.

8. Verify PQC result before start of mass production.

9. Perform any other related duties as assigned by immediate superior

Qualifications

Education level: Prefer Diploma, Advance/Higher/Graduate Diploma or equivalent. SPM/STPM level is acceptable with minimum 2 years’ experience in related filed.

Year(s) of Experience: Preferable more than 2 years of experience in the related field required for this position.

Capability: Must be able to work in shift pattern. Basic understanding of ISO-13485.

Skill(s): Good in Troubleshooting and Problem-Solving Skill, Advanced Microsoft Office Skill (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, etc). Independent, hardworking, fast learner and \"can do\" attitude.
