Job summary

ELX TECHNOLOGY ENGINEERING SDN. BHD. is seeking an experienced Production Supervisor to manage daily line operations at our Penang facility.

You will coordinate manpower, shifts, attendance, and task allocation for assembly and testing operators while monitoring output, yield, WIP, and production progress. Expect hands-on shopfloor leadership, SOP/5S/ESD familiarity, and the ability to analyze yield data. Chinese, English and Malay communication are required for daily operations and local

Qualifications

• 3+ years in manufacturing production, with 1+ year as Line Leader/Team Leader/Production Supervisor
• Hands-on shopfloor management experience
• Familiar with SOP, ESD and 5S
• Able to use basic computer tools for production records and simple yield/efficiency analysis
• Able to communicate in Chinese for daily work, and English and Malay for local shopfloor communication

• Conduct daily briefings, new employee training and on-the-job coaching
• Support trial production, NPI, manufacturing transfer and production ramp-up
• Maintain production records and drive continuous improvement in productivity and quality

About you

Minimum 3 years of manufacturing production experience, including at least 1 year as a Line Leader, Team Leader or Production Supervisor

Hands‑on shopfloor management experience and ability to independently manage manpower and production issues

Familiar with SOP, basic quality control, ESD and 5S

Able to use basic computer tools for production records and simple yield/efficiency analysis

SPM/STPM, Technical Certificate, Diploma or equivalent

Able to communicate in Chinese for daily work, and English and Malay for local shopfloor communication

Able to support shift work, overtime and trial production when required

Experience in electronics manufacturing, precision electronics, optoelectronics, camera modules, sensors, EMS or semiconductor back‑end manufacturing (preferred)

Experience in NPI, new production line setup, manufacturing transfer or production ramp‑up (preferred)
